In her efforts to develop programmes that are aligned with national initiatives like the School Excellence Model (SEM) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL), High Achievers pioneered the concept of the Students Development Model (SDM) in 2001 and SEL linkages to her solutions in 2005. In her approach to programme development, the research & development team incorporates theoretical foundations for all content, together with stringent quality control processes and assessment tools for standardisation of quality, accuracy and relevance. The SDM takes a pedagogical approach and is designed to integrate affective education with the school’s academic curriculum. In order to provide programmes that are relevant and on the cuttingedge, the SDM also incorporated MOE’s recent strategic endeavours to holistic social emotion wellbeing of students by linking SEL relevance to her solutions.
